Lifeeee...

It is so hard to find the words to describe the past few weeks. It's getting colder and I am beginning to miss home a lot more.  I miss my familia, the variety of food, home cooked meals, friends, church, school, APU, driving on freeways, nice weather, homework, studying, learning, chapel, familiar grocery stores, sharing a room with two other girls and the list goes on...

As times get challenging, I am reminded of God's steadfast love he has for his children. In every life situation, God seems to rise above it all. Every challenged I faced in life has been a reminder for me to continue to persevere in present challenges. 

The fires in Orange County hit really close to home. My Dad and my brothers had to put out fires in our backyard and in our neighborhood. We might not have had our home if it were not for their heroic efforts! It is times like these that I wish I were closer to home so that I could be with my family. Thankfully, I have a trip planned home for this coming weekend. I am so excited and stoked to be coming home.
